Great place to learn to surf

I came to Safa Surf Camp as a complete surf beginner with no expectations. After one week of exercise I could actually call it surfing what I was doing.
All the crew does an amasing job. There is theory class which tells the basic of surfing. The first few days are on a sorft board with close guidance of the surf instructors. Altough still beginner, the instructors already try to push the boards into the green water. more

Amazing surfing

We booked with safa surf just two lessons and had the best time ever. We are three girls and None of us had ever surfed before and I was very nervous before we started- but by the end we were up and standing on the board doing great. We even got videoed by one of the workers who then kindly whatsapped me the videos of us surfing- really went an extra mile. more

Favourite place in Sri Lanka

Stayed in Safa Surf Camp with two friends for one week and after that travelled around the island for another week. I can honestly say that staying in Safa Surf Camp in Arugam Bay was the highlight of our trip! more

Great surfing school

Had a great time, spent 7 days having the best surf I ever had in life. Teachers are skilled, owner of the place is very nice and food was great too. I’ll definitely come again if I want to improve my surfing skills. I’m glad I showed up unannounced and took the surf package. more

Fun way to learn surfing with new friends from all over the world

Went to stay in SAFA in aug 2018. I had the best time with them! I have never done surfing before and i saw my progress. The instructors are very helpful. Rasheed, one of the instructors can dance really well! Haha! Food is also amazing! The best part is the vibe that the camp is giving. Its very relaxing, qlmost like coming home to your family. more

Great location and nice people

I really like the location. A lot of nature directly at the beach.Everybody was superfriendly. You can really see that Fawas and the other instructors like their job. Cheers more
